Dr. Smith, with over 35 years of diverse medical experience, joined Ellis and Badenhausen Orthopaedics in 1993. Dr. Smith has been involved with multiple sports teams that include the University of Louisville, Bellarmine University, numerous area high schools and the Louisville Bats baseball team. Dr. Smith has presented and lectured at numerous sites across the US on various upper and lower extremity injuries. Dr. Smith has been recognized by the Kentucky Athletic Trainers as the Sports Medicine Person of the Year as well as being named a "Friend of Football." He has received “Top Doc” recognition in Orthopaedics by Louisville Magazine.
