Dr. Jeff Popham graduated from the University Of Louisville in 1989 with a Bachelor
of Arts. He then spent four years at the U of L School of Medicine, where he graduated
in 1993. From 1993 to 1994, his internship in General Surgery transplanted him to
the south at Tulane University. He remained in New Orleans, Louisiana for four more
years and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 1998. Upon completion
of his residency, Dr Popham returned to Kentucky and began his own orthopaedic practice
in Winchester, KY.
Dr Popham joined our practice in 2002. Along with covering numerous high school
events within the community, he assists in covering the Louisville Bats, the triple
A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Dr Popham is also the team physician of the
University Of Louisville Women’s Softball team.
