Theresa Richardson, PTA

Theresa Richardson is a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is a graduated from Butler Traditional High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from the University of Louisville in 2001. She continued her education at Jefferson Community College in Downtown Louisville. In 2003, she earned her Associate in Applied Science from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at JCC and graduated with High Distinction with a 4.0 GPA in the program.

She joined the Dr. Rudy J. Ellis Sports Medicine Center family in December, 2003 having previously worked with the staff during a clinical rotation while in college. Since graduating college, she has completed continuing education courses in several areas of physical therapy including: electrical stimulation and ultrasound, orthopedics and custom molded orthotics. She is also a clinical instructor for Jefferson Community College.

Theresa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kentucky Physical Therapy Association.
